KAN KIU SIN TOBE
KAN was born in Hong Kong, she currently lives and works in Hong Kong. She obtained her Bachelor (Fine Art) degree co-presented by RMIT University and Hong Kong Art School in 2017. In recent years, KAN likes to observe various vegetation that coexist with humans in daily life by walking around. Her current practice investigates the boundaries between life and death, examines the condition of insecurity in relation to feelings of alienation or being forgotten, or about “existence” and “distance”, and intends to reveal the uncanny and mysterious feelings of hovering between asleep and awake, dream and reality. She experiments with painting, drawing and installation. Her artworks are held in numerous private collections. |
